Rahul Gandhi has off-late been courting controversy by repeatedly breaching his security cordon, much to the displeasure of security agencies. In Karnataka, he again jumped his security cover just to show his love for the students, who he considers to be the future of the country.
The Congress general secretary, who is in Karnataka on a five-day tour as part of his Discover India programme, arrived in Hubli in North Karnataka on Wednesday evening. From the airport, he headed straight to the BVB Engineering College in a Land Cruiser Prado belonging to former Karnataka chief minister N Dharam Singh.
The moment he entered the college premises he created a stir among the students.
The college run by Karnataka Lingayat Education Society was decked up with youth Congress and National Students’ Union of India flags, banners and huge posters of Rahul.
