'We never closed even during the riots'

July 31, 2008
Asked how his life has changed after bombs were found at Vacha Road, Sanghvi says, "We all are scared now. The children come home early and friends and relatives have been calling each other more often to know each others well being."

"Even during the Gujarat riots our office never closed, but on Tuesday we had to close down 90 minutes early as bombs were detected one by one at Vacha Road," he says.

"Work was affected for three days but we will recover the lost days next month," added Sanghavi.

The terrorists had in particular placed seven bombs one after another at Vacha flyover, which connects one part of the town to another.

What surprised people the most was that the terrorists placed a bomb on a tree too.
