'Guru Purnima' celebrated to pay respect to teachers

To mark the student-teacher relationship, the festival of 'Guru Purnima' was celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country. Thousands of devotees thronged the temples to celebrate this auspicious day. In New Delhi, devotees gathered in the temple of Saint Shirdi Sai Baba and offered prayers in order to seek his blessings. This day recognizes the spiritual gurus, their teachings and their lives.
