The day that changed Mahendra Pitale's life

Thirty six-year-old Mahendra Pitale is an outdoor artist and designer. He was on one of the July 11, 2006, death trains.

Pitale lost his left arm and with that his livelihood. But he would not give up. He got up, fitted an artificial left arm and has started going about business like nothing has happened.

In this video, Pitale describes the blasts and how it affected his work. in the subsequent videos, he talks about adjusting to working with designs and art with an artificial arm, how life has changed for him since the blasts and most shocking, and how the artificial prosthetic that the government provided the victims was nothing more than a stuffed glove.
