Pravasi Bharatiya Divas remembers NRI freedom-fighters

The FMMC says it has around 300 exclusive pictures of such martyrs who laid down their lives for the country during the freedom struggle. All these persons who escaped from foreign countries entered India through Kolkata. Most of them were apprehended by the British and later hanged in jail.

The FMMC says it has literature on all these people and it was time to tell the world, especially the NRIs, about the sacrifice made by those who returned to India to take part in the freedom movement. Also read: 'PBD is not to attract investment'
