Celebrating the Indian Diaspora

The sixth Pravasi Bharatiya Divas was inagurated by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at the Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Representatives of an estimated 25 million Diaspora spread across the world will brainstorm with officials and leaders of business and society to look for ways to contribute to the Indian growth story.
The idea of the annual conclave was first recommended by the High Level Committee on the Indian Diaspora in 2002.
