Buoyed by the strong performance of his party in the parliamentary polls, former premier and Pakistan Muslim League-N chief Nawaz Sharif has said that deposed members of the judiciary should be reinstated so that they can decide on the validity of Pervez Musharraf's re-election as President.
Sharif also called on Musharraf to step down after the Pakistani president's allies suffered a crushing defeat in the election.
Sharif, who was ousted by Musharraf in a coup in 1999, said he would work with other opposition groups including the Pakistan People's Party to 'rid Pakistan of dictatorship'.
