Karzai confirms kidnapping of Pakistan ambassador

Afghan president Hamid Karzai confirmed on Tuesday that Tariq Azizuddin, the Pakistan ambassador to Afghanistan, has been kidnapped. The press conference held by Karzai came a day after Azizuddin went missing.
Azizuddin was on his way to Peshawar when he disappeared along with his driver and bodyguard in the Khyber tribal region.
