The Maharishi's last journey

Several prominent people attended the famous Yogi's cremation including Vishwa Hindu Parishad president Ashok Singhal, Sankaracharya Swami Vashudevanand Saraswati, Swami Narendra Nand and Art of Living Guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The funeral was held at Maharishi Ved Mandir at Arail in Allahbad.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, an ardent disciple of the Maharishi, offered obescience and placed a floral wreath on his guru's body.
