India pays homage to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi

In Uttar Pradesh, a large number of people paid homage to the departed guru to the Beatles and the man who introduced transcendental meditation to the West - Maharishi Mahesh Yogi - at Allahabad, from where his spiritual journey began.
Maharishi died in his sleep on February 5 in his Dutch home. He was 91.
Maharishi set up universities and schools all over the world and his Natural Law Party, which promotes yogic flying.
