Israel continues bloody offensive in Gaza

December 30, 2008
IIsraeli warplanes continued air strikes on the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, killing at least 10 Palestinians and injuring over 40, according to reports.

At least 40 air strikes, centred mostly on Gaza City, targeted the Hamas ministry and security buildings, Hamas sources and witnesses said.

Over 360 Palestinians, including over 50 civilians, have been feared killed in the deadly attacks, the bloodiest one since the 1967 war.

The Israeli military confirmed that it was conducting new air strikes centred mostly on Gaza City, targeting the Hamas ministry and security buildings.

The buildings housing the offices of the prime minister, the defence ministry, foreign ministry, finance ministry, and the Islamic University were targeted by the Israeli warplanes.
