Penn, who is recognised for his role in the comedy series Harold and Kumar as well Mira Nair's The Namesake, has been canvassing for presidential hopeful Barack Obama across United States.

Wearing a florescent yellow yest and a name tag, Penn worked as the floor whip at the Democratic National Convention -- ushering delegates to their seats. All for a cause, he says.
