Hyderabad twin blasts: A year later
Text and Photographs: Vicky Nanjappa
August 25, 2008
A year gone and Hyderabad seems to have come to terms with the deadly twin blasts already. Barring civil rights activists, none are really talking about the horrific Saturday last year in which over 40 persons lost their lives at
Lumbini Park and Gokul Chat.
August 25, 2007, was a black day in the history of Hyderabad, the capital of Andhra Pradesh. Two blasts occurred in quick succession in which over 40 persons lost their lives. The people of Hyderabad were terrified as the attack happened just three months after the Mecca Masjid blasts in the same city.
