J&K prepares for Darbar Move

Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir is all geared up for the annual shifting of government departments from the winter capital Jammu.
According to a government spokesman, the offices closed in Jammu on April 25 and will open in Srinagar on May 5. The bi-annual practice of shifting the seat of government for six months to Jammu and for the remaining six months to Srinagar is known as 'Darbar Move'.
