Sonia Gandhi visits Nandigram

Addressing a farmer's rally in Murshidabad on Monday, Congress president Sonia Gandhi, for the first time, criticised the Left front for what happened in Nandigram and also said that the Congress was with the people of Nandigram in their difficulties.
The election rally in Murshidabad was followed by her visit to Siliguri district, where she recounted several welfare measures for rural areas like the National Rural employment Guarantee Scheme and again appealed for support of the people.
