Culling of poultry begins in bird flu hit Tripura

Culling of birds has begun in Tripura afflicted by fresh outbreak of bird flu on Thursday.
After the confirmed reports of the dreaded Bird Flu virus re-appearing, ten rapid response teams were immediately deployed to slaughter nearly 50,000 poultry birds including chicken and ducks in the next five days.
The culling teams include 125 experts who have been specially deployed for this operation.
