Don't talk to Al Qaeda, Pakistan told

Javier Solana, Foreign Policy chief of the European Union, has said that Pakistan should resist talking to Al Qaeda in its efforts to quell militancy in tribal areas bordering Afghanistan.
Addressing media persons in Islamabad, Solana said Al Qaeda leaders were operating outside Pakistan's law and constitution.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, however, said the government wanted to give dialogue a full chance.
