Patil pays homage to Mahatma in Mexico

President Pratibha Patil paid homage at Mahatma Gandhi's monument in Mexico City. The atmosphere at Gandhi's monument came alive as local children sang 'RaghuPati Raghav Raja Ram' in front of the Indian President.
Mexican musicians, in their traditional attire, sang Hindi religious songs on the occasion. Addressing the gathering, Patil said that Mahatma Gandhi's philosophy transcended national boundaries.
