Kannada actors step into Hogenakkal row

Leading film personalities like Puneeth Rajkumar and Ramya participated in the protest.
Though the film fraternity said they were ready to support the cause, they called upon the people of Karnataka to maintain peace during the protests and not to resort to violence.
The Kannada actors stressed that even though they had participated in the protests, they would not let politics affect the professional relationship that they shared with their colleagues from the Tamil film industry.
