Making A Headway

The IPCC was established in 1988 jointly by the World
Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the United Nations
Environment Programme (UNEP) to address the problem of
potential global climate change.
Pachauri has been heading the IPCC since 2002 and active
in several international forums dealing with the subject of
climate change and its policy dimensions.
