Ardh Kumbh: When sins get washed away

Naga sadhus take part in ritual bathing at Sangam, the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna and mythical Saraswati rivers in Allahabad, January 15, during the Ardh Kumbh Mela. Several million pilgrims scrambled for a bath in the holy Ganges River early January 15 to wash away their sins on the auspicious day of Makar Sankranti.
