Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who is in New Delhi on a three-day visit, met President Pratibha Patil in New Delhi on Wednesday.
Abe's visit is expected to firm up billions of dollars of investment projects, expand trade ties and discuss India's controversial nuclear cooperation deal.
