The ceremony began on September 11 when the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra was chanted 100,000 times by 108 Vedic pandits.
The next day, the Sathabhisheka Shanthi Homam and Rudra Ekadashi were performed, and the Shanthi Mantra was chanted 10,000 times by 20 pandits to mark Singhal's birthday.
