Diwali around the world

Diwali, the festival of lights, is celebrated not just in India but around the world.
The festival which celebrates the homecoming of Lord Ram after vanquishing the demon king Ravana, and also honors the goddess of wealth, Lakshmi, is epitomised by diyas (earthern lamps). People fill their homes with diyas and flowers, and also burst crackers.
