Arundhati Roy makes a case for Afzal

Ghalib, Afzal's seven-year-old son joined the dharna, demanding mercy for his father. Also present were Afzal's younger brother Hilal Mohammad Guru and father-in-law Ghulam Mohammad.
Afzal's family, which met him, has said that he was not willing to submit any clemency petition and the family members could do as their own initiative. Based on their plea, the Union Home Ministry has begun consultations with the Delhi government.
