The farmers, scientists and members of self-help groups at the Acharya N G Ranga Agricultural University were pleasantly surprised. They were told they would be meeting the world's most powerful leader. Instead, they found a simple, gregarious farmer in George W Bush.
The US President today spent some time with farmers, weavers and women volunteers in Hyderabad, one of the country's hi-tech hubs, on day three of his visit. He was dressed casually, in a blue shirt with sleeves rolled up, and showed a keen interest in all that was shown to him.
