Indians in New York celebrate I-Day

New York's Madison Avenue bore a distinct desi flavour on August 20, 2006.
The tricolour was out in full force to commemorate the 59th anniversary of India's independence, at the 26th India Day Parade organised by the Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) of the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
