Diwali transforms Mumbai.

Shops deck their exteriors with hundreds of colored lights. Heavy, ornate garlands of flowers and torans are strung across nearly every doorway in Mumbai.

But it is the brightly-lit, multi-colored kandeels hanging from each Mumbai window that brings the most color and festive cheer to the city.
