Natwar at the Kremlin to boost ties

India attained Observer status of the SCO in July this year. The SCO Council meeting focuses on increasing economic cooperation among the member states.

In his five-minute speech at the SCO meet at the President Hotel, Singh said India supports the objectives of the SCO, which seek to ensure stability in its region, combat terrorism and extremist view points and promote economic cooperation.
