Although the Pakistan government and people have launched an all-out rescue and relief effort, it is still a daunting task for the country to cope with its worst-ever natural disaster.

Jammu and Kashmir Uri and Baramullah sectors are also badly affected. The Indian Army is carrying out rescue operations and providing food and other supplies ton survivors.

Yet the help is not reaching victims quickly enough. In many areas, it's not the government authorities but separatist groups like the Hurriyat which are helping out.
