The five days of the camel fair are filled with revelry. There is a lot of flamboyance on display, with camel races, traditional music, dancing and the sale of crafts.

The nights are the most beautiful, with stalls and tents lit up, and dancers swirling to traditional folk music. The fair is also the best place to taste the fiery Rajasthan cuisine, a favourite with international tourists.
