Nitish takes over Laluland

After 15 years of Lalu rule, voters decided they had enough.

Nitish Kumar, who has worked hard to reach this point in his life, has assured the people of Bihar that his priority is to give them an atmosphere minus fear.

The BJP unanimously elected state party president and Lok Sabha member Sushil Kumar Modi as deputy chief minister, who also took the oath today. Though some supporters of senior BJP MLA Ashwini Choubey protested outside the state party office, Modi was the BJP's choice.

Modi also shares a good rapport with Nitish Kumar from the days of Jay Prakash Narain's movement of which they were a part.
