Mumbai may be limping back to a semblance of normalcy but residents of Kurla in northeastern Mumbai are still without electricity and water a week after Terrible Tuesday.

Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg -- one of the busiest thoroughfares in Mumbai -- is still clogged with rainwater, forcing traffic to move very slowly in this part of the city.

Though the water has receded from homes, residents complain that no one from the state government or the civic administration has informed them on how long they will have to live without electricity and water.
