On the third and final day his India visit, Pakistan President Musharraf and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh issued a joint declaration.

The declaration said that the peace process between the two neighbours is now irreversible.

The two countries agreed to continue discussions on Kashmir in a "sincere and purposeful manner" to find a final decision on the issue.

They also emphasised their commitment to enhancing economic and commercial cooperation.
