"You've got a clear choice between two strong men with great convictions and philosophies, different policies with very different consequences for this city, this state, our nation and the world," he told the thousands of Democrats who had come to hear him.

The former president, who underwent a quadruple bypass surgery just seven weeks ago, was looking much thinner. But he definitely was in his elements. "If this isn't good for my heart, I don't know what is," he told the raucous crowd.
