Deputy Prime Minister Lal Kishenchand Advani's Bharat Uday Yatra re-entered Maharashtra on Thursday from the state's southern border with Andhra Pradesh.

Advani crossed a narrow bridge over the half-dried Penganga river to a rousing reception at Pimpalkhuti, a hamlet of less than 50 houses. Advani has since addressed three rallies -- in Yavatmal on Thursday night, in Wardha on Friday afternoon and in Nagpur in the evening.
