A splash here, a sprinkle there and loads of colour is Holi. Indian festivals generally showcase good clothes, lip-smacking food and clean fun.
But Holi is different. First, clothes never stay fresh beyond 30 seconds after you step out of your house. Second, they change colour every minute or thereabouts. And finally, your monochromatic face acquires the rainbow touch.
Water filled balloons, gulals of every colour conceivable, yummy snacks and the long bath afterwards, Holi is when the Indians show the world a thing or three about having fun.
If Diwali is one big bang, Holi is one big splash. Join rediff.com in celebrating the fun festival!
