First Rani Mukerji went to Jodhpur. From there, along with the NDTV team, it was one long road journey to the first army unit in Pokhran -- an anti tank division.

Pokhran was the scene of a massive armoured assault by the Pakistani army during the 1971 war. Of course the Indian Army was more than a match for the Pakistanis, with just a small picket making the enemy flee.
