Vakharia and Shah were enjoying a late vegetarian lunch with their families in Hotel Purnima when the blast occurred. Bhavesh, his daughter Hiral (8) and son Yash (5) lost their lives along with two others while his wife Rimple was seriously injured and is recuperating in a Srinagar hospital.
Neerav and his family got away with injuries. But despite losing his friends, he is full of praise for the people of Kashmir.
He avoids thinking about the incident but agreed to tell rediff.com about the events of that fateful day:
