It was Neerav Vakharia and Bhavesh Shah's first time in Kashmir. Residents of Mumbai, Neerav is involved in the share market on the Bombay Stock Exchange and his friend Bhavesh ran a garment business in Malad.
They had heard a lot about Kashmir and were keen to visit what is generally referred to as 'Paradise on Earth'.
But on Saturday June 12, their holiday came to an abrupt and tragic end when terrorists hurled a grenade into a hotel in Pahalgam, 85km from Srinagar.
