It is that time of the year when devotees of Lord Shiva undertake the arduous trek to the cave shrine at Amarnath in Jammu and Kashmir to seek His blessings. Notwithstanding weather and security concerns, thousands of pilgrims undertake this journey every year.
This year's Amarnath Yatra began on July 14 and will continue till August 31.
