Hundreds of thousands of people descended on the Bandra Kurla Complex in northwest Mumbai last weekend for a 'festival of blessings,' a prayer meet presided over by American preacher Benny Hinn.

They had come from all parts of India, and overseas. Some to hear the evangelist, others hoping for a miracle. Others came out of curiosity, intrigued by the hoardings all over the city titled, 'Pray for India.'
