United States Assistant Secretary of State for South Asian Affairs Christina Rocca was in Mumbai on Wednesday.

She visited the Anjuman-I-Islam's Saif Tyabji Girls High School and Junior College to inaugurate its computer centre.

The US state department gave the institution a grant of $20,000 to purchase computers.

This is Rocca's first visit to Mumbai after she took over the post of assistant secretary of state for South Asia in 2001.
