Death by the sea
Grieving women at a mass burial site in Cuddalore, some 185 km south of Chennai in Tamil Nadu. The southern state was worst hit by Sunday's tsunamis, which claimed 2780 lives, with Cuddalore and Nagapattinam facing the brunt of nature's fury.
