Subtly dramatic and yet very powerful, Rajesh Pratap Singh’s collection was a complete break from everything the Lakme India Fashion Week had seen on its first day.

The colours -- orange, grey and black -- could not have been more different from Rina Dhaka’s opening collection that used lots of beige, cream and brown.

The show started with long coats and jackets in fiery orange.
