Chris Columbus, director of the first two Harry Potter films, excused himself from helming Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban because he missed his family and wanted to spend time with them. Mexican director Alfonso Cuaron took over from him for Prisoner Of Azkaban. Columbus did express wilingness to direct the fourth film, but the makers have chosen Mike Newell (Four Weddings And A Funeral) to head the project.


Harry Potter returns for some more thrills and chills in J K Rowling's Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban.

Harry, now 13, meets Sirius Black, his godfather and the prisoner of Azkaban, in this coming-of-age tale.

Directed by Mexican filmmaker Alfonso Cuaron, the latest Potter film is an exciting mix of magic, perils, hippogriffs and broomsticks!
