Raja returns

Raja, a former flight purser with Lufthansa made a name for himself with Shekhar Kammula's Anand (Telugu).

He was last seen in Indraganti Mohan Krishna's Maya Bazaar with Bhoomika Chawla, Mister Medhavi, Veduka and Idhi Sangathi [in a cameo].

Now, Raja is back with Sontha Vooru slated to release on the March 21.

In this interview, he talks about Sontha Vooru (a film which seems to be closest to his heart) and his future projects.

The title Sontha Vooru seems intriguing. Has it something to do with one's own village or one's own roots?

It's absolutely correct. It is about how a village plays a role in everybody's life, and the impact of commercialisation on the villages.

You see, villages are being sold off to big companies and multinationals or power projects at throwaway prices. A lot of people are being affected by this and that is why the film has a very strong message.
