The typical Hindi films are not really working, so I think re-inventing one's self and experimenting is the need of the season. Some big budget films haven't done well, but films like Dev D, Rock On!! and Bheja Fry did really well. So I think the Indian audiences are open to different kinds of subjects. Slumdog Millionaire is an example that a small British independent film, with no big stars, can make a huge impact.
