They get major launches, movies on a platter, and much hoopla simply because of the families they've been born into.
And yet some turn stellar while some don't go far.
Here's a look at the kids who debuted over the last couple of years and where they stand today.
Ranbir Kapoor
The shining star of the next generation, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh's son provides the complete Bollywood package -- stuns, sings, dances, grins -- with the laudable bonus of actually being a good actor. Awesome.
The kid has screen presence, and after debuting with Saawariya, showed off his filmi cred impressively in Bachna Ae Haseeno. Endorsements beckoned early on, and he's currently the big draw for Pepsi.
