Resul Pookutty is one of the few Indians to win an Oscar award -- for his work in Slumdog Millionaire -- and make the country proud, and not everyone has finished congratulating him.
Returning home to a grand welcome, the 39-year-old sound technician, who worked in films like Black, Saawariya, Traffic Signal, Dus Kahaniyan and Ghajini, found out that his feat has won him many fans during a rediff chat last Friday.

Anoop asked, I heard reports about you directing a malayalam film starring mammotty. Is it true?
Resul Pookutty answers, I planned a film long ago. None as of now.
